Stephen graduated from Wake Forest University, with a B.A., in Economics, and from Woodrow Wilson College of Law, with a J.D. degree.

Admissions & Memberships: Real Property Section of the State Bar of Georgia; Past President of the Clayton County Bar Association; and the recipient of the Clayton County Bar Association 2015 Award for Excellence in Bar Leadership.

Stephen has a daughter, two sons, two granddaughters and a grandson.
