James graduated from The University of Georgia in 1994 with a BLA in Landscape Architecture and received his Juris Doctor from The University of Georgia in 1998. James was a contributor to the Georgia Law Review, publishing an article entitled “The Westfall Act Before and After Gutierrez de Martinez v. Lamagno: Reviewability, Remand, and Article III – One Down, One to Go, and One That Should Be Left Open”. His current practice focuses on residential REO title and closings.

In his spare time, James enjoys spending time with family, traveling and attending concerts.
