Marie graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and was inducted as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She also received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Joseph F. Rice School of law at the University of South Carolina in 2007 where she served as research assistant to the Dean. During her time at USC Law, she attended a study abroad program at Gray’s Inn of Court in London. Marie is admitted to practice law in Georgia and South Carolina. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening, musical theater, and cheering on the South Carolina Gamecocks.
