Suzanne graduated from the University of Georgia in 1988 with a BBA and from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 1992 with a JD, Cum Laude. In college, she was active in the UGA Defender/Advocate Society, was in the Georgia Redcoat Marching Band and was president of her sorority, Kappa Delta. In law school, she was a member of the Law Review and in the top 10 graduates, earning her membership in Order of the Coif. She practiced commercial litigation in Birmingham, Alabama, for three years until “retiring” to raise her two children with her husband and fellow Cumberland graduate, David, in her hometown of Carrollton, Georgia. In 2022, after 25 years as a stay-at-home mom and volunteering in every conceivable role in town, she is happy to have returned to the practice of law part-time with McMichael & Gray in their Carrollton office.
